Galle

District Galle, Southern Province (Galla), Srilanka


The City was one of the many affected by the tsunami of Boxing day 2004. The fort area was well protected by it's centuries-old defensive wall, but much of the rest of the city was hit. Now galle has recovered sucessfully.
